General FAQs

Is there an AAACN Annual Conference mobile app?

Yes, AAACN has a mobile app! Our Online Learning app sidesteps the traditional route altogether -- simply navigate to aaacn.org/library and follow the prompts on your device to seamlessly add our app to your home screen (and don’t forget to enable push notifications for an enhanced experience). You'll receive timely updates about sessions, networking opportunities, schedule changes, and important announcements, so you never miss a moment.

How many ANCC contact hours will the conference offer?

In-person attendees can receive up to 20 ANCC contact hours. Additional ANCC contact hours are available if you register for pre-conference workshops or the Ambulatory Care Nursing Certification Review Course.

On-demand attendees who pre-register for the PostCon Online Access on-demand package can receive up to 15 ANCC contact hours. Additional ANCC contact hours can be purchased through the Online Library.

Where do I earn ANCC contact hours?

Attendees receive a certificate for ANCC contact hour credit after completing the overall conference and individual session evaluations via the Conference Event Page or mobile app. To earn ANCC contact hours, you will need to log in to the AAACN Conference Event Page with your AAACN username and password and complete session evaluations.

Is there a deadline for earning ANCC contact hours?

In person attendees will have approximately 4 weeks after the conference ends to complete your session evaluations to earn ANCC contact hours. You will receive multiple emails alerting you to the deadline date.

How do I obtain a certificate of attendance or proof of my ANCC contact hour credit?

Once you complete the ANCC contact hour evaluation forms, ANCC contact hour certificates will be accessible and available for printing at any time through the AAACN Online Library, ensuring seamless access to your professional development records. AAACN does not mail certificates of attendance. If you require proof of attendance or simply a record, we recommend printing your certificates; you receive one certificate per evaluated session. A record of all sessions evaluated also is available on your CNE/NCPD transcript. The information is available in the AAACN Online Library as follows:

How do I download handouts?

Conference attendees will be able to download handouts from the Conference Event Page which serves as the hub for all conference information for registrants, under the Handout tab. AAACN does not provide any printed handouts onsite. If you wish to have a hard copy of the handout material, you should print them ahead of time.

I need a W9 form.

Please contact aaacn@aaacn.org for this request and an electronic copy will be sent to you.

PostCon Online Access FAQs

I registered for the on-demand package. What happens next?

Once the conference concludes, we will email you instructions to access your PostCon Online Access conference content. Please note, this process may take up to five weeks after the live event.

What does my PostCon Online Access registration package include?

Your PostCon Online Access registration includes access to sessions offering up to 15 ANCC contact hours. ANCC NCPD contact hour credit is calculated based on the actual run time of the recorded sessions and will be available through the posted expiration date – approximately two years after the live event.

While you will have extended time to view and evaluate sessions, we encourage you to watch them as soon as possible. Doing so ensures you maximize your educational experience and claim your ANCC NCPD contact hours before they expire.

Are the pre-recorded sessions offered with full in-person conference registration the same thing as the PostCon Online Access on-demand package?

The pre-recorded sessions offered with full in-person conference registration and the PostCon Online Access on-demand package are separate items.

The PostCon Online Access package is a package comprised of recordings of sessions presented live at the annual conference. The session recordings are bundled together in this special package for individuals who cannot attend the conference in person but still wish to take advantage of conference content and special pricing.
