This session equips nurse informaticists with a practical governance framework for evaluating, deploying, and overseeing artificial intelligence in clinical settings. Drawing on direct clinical observation across multiple international healthcare institutions and current data science practice, the session addresses the most consequential gap in health information technology today: the gap between artificial intelligence's technical capability and the governance structures required to use it safely.
