Dr. Sanjeev Uprety is an orthopedic and trauma surgeon and clinical informaticist with over 30 years of combined clinical and informatics experience. He is the co-founder of Clinicomatics Digital LLC, a US-based healthcare AI company, and the president and founder of Digital Health Forum Nepal (DHFN), Kathmandu, Nepal. He received his medical degree from the University of Pécs, Hungary, and completed his orthopaedic residency at Kathmandu University. He served as an international visiting professor in pediatric orthopedics at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, completed informatics training at Children's National Medical Center, and earned his MSc-IT degree in health information technology from Catholic University of America. He serves as a national consultant to the World Health Organization (WHO). With extensive experience in both US and international environments, Dr. Uprety has focused on leading the implementation of hospital automation and EHRs, bridging clinical practice and digital health innovation, and transforming healthcare systems into patient-centric, data-driven organizations. He recently published "Inside the Intelligent Hospital," which focuses on artificial intelligence, clinical informatics, and the new infrastructure of modern medicine.
