Dr. Caterina Lasome is a retired Army lieutenant colonel who serves as president and CEO of iON Informatics, LLC, an informatics, analytics, and policy consulting firm based. With more than 35 years of healthcare and informatics experience across military, NATO, federal, commercial, and nonprofit sectors, her leadership roles have spanned direct care, administration, administration, clinical informatics, analytics, research, deputy CIO, and chief operating officer in the areas of informatics, interoperability, EHR modernization, innovation, standards and terminology, and digital health, including senior positions with Army Medicine, the National Cancer Institute, Veterans Administration, Department of War, the Federal Electronic Health Record Modernization Office, and Health and Human Services. Dr. Lasome served in various positions with ANIA and CARING between 2000 and 2014.
