Cynthia Jovanov is board certified in Acute Care and Family and has been working as a Care Nurse Practitioner throughout California, working in community hospitals and large academic settings. She is currently in an inaugural position at Eisenhower Medical Center as the current Advanced Practice Provider Quality and Practice Manager. She also works in an underserved clinic in riverside county in a primary care setting. She is also the immediate past president for the California Association for Nurse Practitioners. In addition to her advocacy and clinical expertise, Cynthia is a passionate educator, where she served as adjunct faculty at California Baptist University, and UCLA in both FNP / Acute Care Programs. Cynthia's academic credentials and community work fuels her advocacy for advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) she voices that nurses need to understand their financial contribution to healthcare organizations. She completed her Psych NP in 2023 to augment her primary care role surrounding young adults and mental health access. Her leadership, academic contributions, and clinical expertise exemplify her commitment to advancing nursing practice and improving healthcare outcomes and self-preservation.
