Dr. Jason Casey is currently the Lead Advanced Practice Provider with Summa Health Medical Group – Urology in Akron, OH. After completion of his Doctor in Nursing Practice degree from the University of Tennessee - Health Science Center in Memphis, TN, he went on to complete an Advanced Clinical Practitioner Fellowship in Urology from the Center for Advanced Practice at Carolinas Medical Center (now Atrium Health) in Charlotte, NC. For the last 8 years, Dr. Casey has practiced in general urology with a special focus on men’s sexual health at Summa Urology. Dr. Casey is a member of Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates, the American Urological Association, Sexual Medicine Society of North America, and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. He is certified as a Urology Nurse Practitioner by the Certification Board for Urologic Nurses and Associates. While a SUNA member, he has served on the task force for authoring and peer reviewing patient education fact sheets from SUNA for multiple urologic conditions such as low testosterone and nocturia. Most recently has been guest speaker for the annual pharmacology conference through Summa Health in Akron, OH, discussing testosterone deficiency in men.
