Lynn currently works as a nurse practitioner in primary care at East Georgia Healthcare Center in Wadley, GA. She retired last year from academia, after 8 years in Urology & 15 years in women’s health & is currently in her 40th year of nursing. Her early years were spent at the bedside in critical care as a nurse and clinical specialist. Her women’s health experience focused on HPV research as well as complex vulvar disorders & vaginal infections. The focus of her Urology career was on general Urology. Her faculty “gently lead” her toward care of women with recurrent UTIs, bladder pain, vulvar disorders & menopause. She has been a member of the AUA Advanced Practice Committee for over 6 years, serving on the live education sub-committee. She is also a member of the AUA speaker’s bureau. Despite leaving the urology specialty, she is still a resource for women who have complex UTIs, bladder pain, vaginal infections & vulvar disorders.
