Healthcare providers treat many patients with multiple comorbidities, including those with chronic health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, and chronic pelvic and urologic pain. Many chronic health conditions have been associated with adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). This presentation aims to explore ACES, their relation to chronic health conditions, including genitourinary diseases, as well as provide valuable insight on how to provide trauma informed care in both pediatric and adult populations.
