This full-day workshop is designed for APPs who wish to perform cystoscopy featuring both didactic and hands-on training. Attendees will learn about the critical preparation and care of the patient and the equipment before, during, and after cystoscopy. Attendees will have access to six hands-on stations, allowing for plenty of time with all the important aspects of performing local procedures, identification of normal and abnormal, stent removal, removal of stones and debris using a basket, placement of a catheter over a wire, and biopsy of suspicious lesions. Representatives from each of the major urologic equipment manufacturers will be available to help you develop comfort with their company’s equipment, including flexible, rigid, and disposable scopes.
