Allison Villegas is a physician assistant who currently works with Longevity Health Plans, an institutional special needs Plan (ISNP), as an advanced practice provider. Longevity’s mission statement aligns closely with Allison’s personal pursuit for her work, which is to improve the health and quality of life of nursing home residents by caring for their unique medical, social, and emotional needs. Prior to working with Longevity, Allison was an advanced practice provider with Optum’s Complex Care Management, another ISNP program. During her time with Optum, Allison was awarded the 2021 Sages of Clinical Services Award in recognition of her work and demonstrations of integrity, compassion, relationships, innovation, and performance. Prior to working with ISNP programs, Allison worked for Rocky Mountain Senior Care and Colorado Geriatric Care, both privately owned fee for service providers. She has been providing care in post-acute and long-term care for the last 10 years and is an expert in behavioral health of older adults.
