Dr. Shantha Frank is a full professor in the graduate nursing department at Ramapo College, where she teaches pharmacology, pathophysiology, epidemiology, and clinical courses in the nurse practitioner program. In addition to her academic role, she brings extensive clinical experience in post-acute care (PAC) and long-term care (LTC), followed by the past nine years in outpatient practice managing complex medical conditions, with particular expertise in the care of patients with diabetes. She moves seamlessly between classroom teaching and clinical practice throughout the week, consistently integrating current, real-world patient care experiences into her teaching to strengthen student learning and clinical reasoning.
