Dr. Amanda Younger has been an adult nurse practitioner for over 13 years working in neurosurgery at Henry Ford Health System. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Michigan State University. A Master of Science in Nursing degree was received from Madonna University in 2012 with certification as an adult nurse practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. In 2019, she became certified in pain management through the ANCC and in 2026 graduated from Frontier Nursing University with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. She currently serves in volunteer roles with the American Nurses Association, the Journal of Pain Management Nursing, and the Ethics Committee at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital. Current professional associations include the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, the American Holistic Nurses Association, and the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association, where she serves as secretary of the Great Lakes chapter.
