LaShonte’ Thomas-Shaw is a family nurse practitioner who has worked in hospice and palliative medicine for over 15 years. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Florida and then earned her Master of Science degree at Florida Atlantic University. She holds certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and as an advanced certified hospice and palliative nurse (ACHPN). In 2019, she became the lead advanced practice provider for Wellstar Palliative Medicine, supporting inpatient and outpatient APPs. LaShonte’ is passionate about ensuring patients and families receive quality care and education at the end of life.
