Dr. Brette Svensson is an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner who has practiced in post-acute and long-term care for more than 10 years with Wellstar Health System in Marietta, Georgia. Since 2021, she has served as medical director of post-acute services, where she provides full-time primary care in the nursing home setting and collaborates with multiple health system specialties. She has partnered closely with the Wellstar Palliative Medicine program in its development and execution of a nursing home initiative, with a focus on improving quality of care. Dr. Svensson is an active member of the Georgia GAPNA chapter and has served on several national GAPNA committees and task forces.
