A comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA) includes screening in multiple geriatric domains. To identify the complex needs of an older adult in the community, the primary provider must be an astute diagnostician while maintaining a reasonable workflow in a busy clinic. This workshop will provide an overview of domains that include frailty, nutrition, fall risk, function, cognition, and depression. Tools will be introduced for medication, sleep, caregiver readiness, and strain, and a clinical case and chart will be provided, allowing for hands-on practice with appropriate screening tools. Assessment and recommendations for the patient are the goal of the final discussion. This content is the afternoon portion of the content presented for session 020.
