Alyson Quinn is a senior quality informatics nurse specialist at UMass Memorial Health. With 13 years of experience spanning oncology nursing, nursing leadership, quality improvement, and clinical informatics, she specializes in leveraging technology to improve clinical workflows, patient safety, and healthcare delivery. In her current role, Alyson leads enterprise clinical workflow and documentation initiatives and serves as an Epic-certified specialist in ambulatory care, Beacon oncology, and OpTime. She partners with interdisciplinary teams across ambulatory and inpatient care settings to optimize electronic health record utilization, enhance clinician engagement, and implement evidence-based solutions that improve patient outcomes. Prior to her informatics role, Alyson worked as an inpatient oncology nurse, oncology nurse educator, and nurse manager for a 60-chair oncology infusion unit. She is board certified in both nursing informatics and oncology nursing. Alyson has presented nationally on oncology informatics and process standardization. She is passionate about nursing innovation, clinician education, and the intersection of informatics and quality improvement to support safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.
