Donna Mayo is vice president of clinical informatics and a product owner at Elsevier, where she leads a team focused on developing evidence-based clinical decision support solutions. With more than 20 years of experience in nursing informatics, she is deeply committed to advancing the nursing profession and ensuring nurses have practical, trusted tools that support clinical judgment, reduce workflow burden, and improve patient care. Her expertise includes clinical decision support, evidence-based content integration, EHR workflow design, and collaboration with healthcare organizations and technology vendors to translate clinical needs into meaningful, technology-enabled solutions. Donna’s work is grounded in a passion for keeping the nurse and patient at the center of innovation and helping teams design solutions that fit naturally into clinical practice. She is also a past president of the ANIA Great Lakes chapter.
