Nico Gennaro Sciasci is the executive director of SONSIEL – Society of Nurse Scientists, Innovators, Entrepreneurs, and Leaders, headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. He specializes in nursing innovation, migration/mobility, and human resources in health. Previously, Nico served as director of the International Center for Nurse Migration (ICNM), a partner organization between CGFNS International, now TruMerit, and the International Council of Nurses (ICN), managing the center's day-to-day operations. In his role, he also developed a wide range of publications related to the nursing workforce, including the reskilling of refugee health professionals, while also contributing as a thought leader to the World Health Organization (WHO) and several United Nations (UN) agencies as an official representative. Nico earned a master's degree in global studies and international relations with a concentration in global health and development from Northeastern University in Boston.
