Amy Kalenscher is a lead clinical informaticist at Virtua Health, where she has been working for the past 8 years. She has over 20 years of healthcare experience across multiple hospital systems. Amy co-founded the informatics liaison program at Virtua Health in 2019 and continues to act as the program coordinator, overseeing both clinical and nursing informatics liaisons. Prior to her role in nursing informatics, she worked as both an inpatient and outpatient nurse in OB and pediatrics and held several leadership roles. In addition to her BSN degree, which she earned at Pace University, she holds dual BA degrees from Lafayette College in English and Cognitive Science and an MSN degree in nursing informatics from the University of Phoenix. Amy has presented on this topic at the Greater Delaware Valley HIMSS fall event and at Epic's 2024 XGM Conference.
