Gwen Holder has 28 years of experience in nursing informatics. She helped to lead the Vanderbilt Department of Nursing Informatics through the development of homegrown applications in the early 1990s and through the transition to vendor products including big bang go-live on Epic in 2017. She was honored with the transformational leader award 2018 for her work with the Epic conversion. She has presented at the local, regional, and national levels and is adjunct faculty at Vanderbilt School of Nursing and the University of Maryland School of Nursing. She is the past president and founding member of the Tennessee chapter of ANIA.
