Dr. Carolyn Harmon is the director of nursing informatics, healthcare leadership, and nursing education at the University of South Carolina. She is a nurse scientist in their ACORN Center and one of the University's Propel AI Scholars. Since 2004, she has worked in various nursing informatics leadership roles in large healthcare or university systems. Dr. Harmon has a PhD degree from USC and a DNP degree from UAB. Also, she is a board-certified informatics nurse, is certified Six Sigma green belt, and is one of ANIA's past presidents.
