Dr. Tammy Kemp is a nurse entrepreneur and founder and CEO of Axon Acuity. Dr Kemp presently serves as an adjunct faculty of managerial analytics at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. She has over 30 years of expertise in various senior operational leadership positions. Dr. Kemp received her doctoral degree from Case Western University and her master's degree from Duke University. She also has adjunct faculty appointments in the School of Business at Virginia Tech, Liberty, and Radford Universities. Dr. Kemp is a certified nurse executive and received the Virginia Nurse Association Foundation for Excellence Award in Leadership in the area of informatics. She has been recognized for the development of high functioning, multidisciplinary teams, program development and partnerships focusing on both innovative informatics and operational solutions. She serves as a consultant and frequent speaker nationally and internationally in artificial intelligence and other executive leadership topics.
