Jessica Cheverie has been an RN for over 20 years working mostly for a government hospital in labor and delivery working as an OR lead, charge RN, and NRP instructor and taught numerous classes over the years. Then she began her journey in nursing informatics being a lead for metrics at a local hospital in San Diego and helping with projects at a local VA during grad school for informatics pilot programs. She is an active and current member of ACNL, ANIA, AONL and HIMSS. Currently Jessica is director of clinical services for TRL Systems in Southern CA working for an integration company for health care, fire, and safety. Due to all of Jessica’s years of healthcare experience she meets with nursing leadership to discuss technology that can assist with challenges hospitals are facing to have solutions to benefit healthcare facilities all over southern CA with her coworkers. She assists facilities with data analytics in nurse call and infant security and designing new technology to meet the needs of healthcare sites. Jessica also is very active with Excelsior University was on the board as a member on the ALC (alumni leadership council). She has been doing quarterly webinars on numerous topics. She lives in San Diego and enjoys walking her dog, swimming, golf, and sailing with family and friends.
