In this in-brief session, multiple speakers will highlight approaches to managing issues related to training the next generation of nursing informaticists in the practice environment. Presentations featured are "Assuring Specialty Competence:  Making Nursing Informatics Scope and Standards of Practice the Corner Stone of the Team Onboarding Process" and "Building Pathways for Diversification, Recruitment, and Training in Nursing Informatics: Using A Population Health Informatics Workshop as a Strategy."
