Catherine Arima is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who works for Stanford Health Care in Urology at the Emeryville campus. She graduated from the Family Nurse Practitioner program at UC San Francisco in 2007 and joined Stanford Urology in 2015. She greatly enjoys connecting with her patients in a meaningful way and values an integrative approach in caring for her patients. She is Fellowship trained in Integrative Medicine and received her training from the Andrew Weil Center of Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona where she was a recipient of the Andrew Weil Integrative Medicine Scholarship. Catherine is a 300-hour certified yoga teacher and has completed an Advanced Yoga Study program on Pelvic Floor Yoga and Yoga for Incontinence. She trained with world renowned yoga teachers Rodney Yee, Colleen Saidman, Leslie Howard and Richard Rosen. She started Stanford Health Care’s first Yoga for Incontinence program. Her program is designed for prostate cancer patients however she hopes to eventually bring this program to all patients throughout Stanford and beyond.
