This session will explore the evolving landscape of chronic kidney disease (CKD) management in light of emerging therapies and comorbid conditions. This session will examine how GLP-1 receptor agonists, such as OzempicĀ®, are influencing kidney outcomes and metabolic health. Attention will be given to the role of obstructive sleep apnea and gut dysbiosis as underrecognized yet significant contributors to CKD progression. Using an interdisciplinary lens, current evidence, pathophysiologic mechanisms, and implications for early detection, patient education, and personalized care strategies will be reviewed. Attendees will gain insights into integrating novel therapies and comorbidity management into routine nephrology practice.
