Dr. Marcella Wright is the director of care coordination and Lean consulting with HealthTech. Marcella has worked in health care for more than 30 years and has spent most of her time in the ambulatory care setting. Her nursing career started in home health and has included mental health, nephrology, and academia. In leadership, she has been the clinical director to both outpatient hemodialysis and home health. Marcella has lived in rural America and understands rural health care. Completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Educational Leadership degree has afforded Marcella the opportunity to incorporate care coordination, quality improvement, Lean management, and theoretical models. She has been a member of American Nephrology Nurses Association (ANNA), is a certified mental health nurse and certified nephrology nurse, and is a member of American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nurses (AAACN).
