Sara Wellman is a clinical nurse specialist for the University of Kentucky primary care ambulatory clinics. She has over 20 years of experience as a registered nurse, which includes 12 years as a family nurse practitioner and 5 years as a clinical nurse specialist. She holds a BSN degree from Eastern Kentucky University, an MSN degree from Indiana Wesleyan University, and is currently pursuing her DNP degree at the University of Kentucky.
