Dr. Millie Sattler is the corporate director of nurse retention and career development for Emory Healthcare. She is part of the Emory Healthcare senior leadership team and is the executive sponsor for the Professional Lattice Advancing Nurses (PLAN), Emory nurse peer mentoring program and nurse retention strategies across the nine-hospital system and ambulatory care. Dr. Sattler completed her DNP degree at Chamberlain University, Downers Grove, Illinois, in system leadership and executive leadership, focusing on interprofessional communication and collaboration. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Chamberlain University. She received a Diploma in Nursing from St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing in Youngstown, Ohio. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, the American Nurses Association, and the Association of Nurse Leaders.
