Elise Nelms is the nurse manager of navigation and discharge coordination at the Winship Comprehensive Cancer Center, where she brings over a decade of progressive nursing leadership experience. With over 10 years of leadership experience, Elise has played a pivotal role in building high-performing teams that prioritize patient-centered care and streamline transitions across the cancer continuum. She has served as a mentor to emerging nurse leaders, supporting their advancement through individualized coaching and evidence-based leadership practices. Elise was recently honored as a finalist for the prestigious Nurse Leader of the Year award.
