Dr. Edtrina Moss is a nursing leader with more than 28 years of progressive nursing experience and over a decade in senior leadership roles. She currently serves as a senior performance improvement specialist RN at Harris Health System. Dr. Moss holds board certifications in ambulatory care nursing and nurse executive and the certified professional in healthcare quality (CPHQ) designation, as well as a Lean Six Sigma green belt. Her academic credentials include a PhD in Nursing Science degree and a Post-Master's Certificate in Nursing Education from Texas Woman's University, a Master of Science in Nursing degree and BSN degree from Drexel University, and an Executive MBA in Organizational Behavior, Coaching, and Consulting degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. She currently serves as vice president of the Texas Nurses Foundation, board member at large for the Texas Nurses Association, and a content expert panelist for the ANCC's Nurse Executive Certification. Dr. Moss co-edited the 10th edition of the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN's) Scope and Standards for Ambulatory Care Nursing, is co-editor of the upcoming 5th edition of the Core Curriculum for Ambulatory Care Nursing, and actively contributes as a member of AAACN's Research Committee.
