Carlene Lugtu is a manager of health informatics at Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto, CA. Carlene holds a Master of Science in Clinical Informatics Management degree from Stanford University (2022) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from San Francisco State University (2001). She previously served on the board of directors for HIMSS Northern California Chapter. Carlene has been an RN for over 24 years. She has worked in nursing informatics for 3 years, with the last 8 months as part of the data science team supporting AI evaluation and implementation for the organization. Prior to joining nursing informatics, Carlene worked in cardiac ambulatory care for 12 years as first an RN and then an operations clinic manager.
