Dr. Chrystal Lewis is currently employed by Stanford Health Care as a nurse scientist and by Stanford University School of Medicine where she has an appointment as a clinical assistant professor in the primary care and population health department in Palo Alto, CA. Dr. Lewis has been a nurse for 18 years, earning her BSN degree from UAB and her MSN (nursing education) and PhD degrees from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Dr. Lewis has over 10 years' experience advising front-line nursing staff on EBP and research projects. Dr. Lewis was the 2024-25 AAACN Emerging Professional Board fellow and is a current member of the AAACN Research Committee, AAACN Mentorship Task Force, and the inaugural chair of the AAACN Clinical Inquiry SIG.
