Maura Gallagher is a nursing professional development specialist and nurse residency program coordinator at the Clinical Practices of the University of Pennsylvania (CPUP). Prior to her current role, Maura worked as a clinical nurse for over 13 years in cardiac-thoracic progressive care and then in the PACU and extended-stay unit. She began her nursing career as a new-to-practice nurse at this institution and was a graduate of the nurse residency program. Maura earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Pittsburgh and Master of Nursing Education degree at Drexel University.
