Dr. Patricia Britt is the vice president and chief nursing officer for ambulatory care and nursing professional practice at Stanford Health Care. She has 25 years of nursing experience, including 19 years of experience practicing as an advanced practice provider – clinical nurse specialist in both inpatient and ambulatory care settings. Dr. Britt has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and a Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas School of Nursing. Her master’s focus was an adult health clinical nurse specialist. She also has completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, Orvis School of Nursing. Dr. Britt is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a nurse executive advanced. Dr. Britt serves as president of the Stanford Sigma Chapter—Alpha Alpha Lambda At-Large, the 1st Practice site Sigma Chapter worldwide. Dr. Britt serves AAACN as a manuscript reviewer for the Journal of Ambulatory Care Nursing and an abstract reviewer for the AAACN Annual Conference.
