Nurses, when empowered to practice at the top of their license, are essential to transforming the future of health care. This presentation will discuss the impact of a dual intervention on healthcare utilization and patient outcomes within a large, urban academic health system addressing two key issues: the lack of standardized triage dispositions and the underutilization of registered nurses (RNs) practicing at the top of their license.
