This presentation aims to educate about the emerging role of the clinical nurse leader (CNL), discuss the novel implementation of the CNL in an ambulatory care setting, illustrate how a CNL differs from other ambulatory care nursing leadership roles, and give examples of how ambulatory care CNLs add value to the nursing team.
