Leondra Weiss has been a registered nurse for over 32 years, working at the beside, as a public health nurse doing home visiting, as an instructor at the community college and university levels, and now in the ambulatory care setting as a nurse and educator. She went back to school after 30 years and became an ARNP in 2024. She is now working as a family practice nurse practitioner at Sea Mar on Vashon Island where she lives. She has been a part of AAACN since 2017 and is the current Advocacy Committee chair.
