Dr. Mathew Schlueter is the chief nursing officer for Harris Health System Ambulatory Care Services. He holds a doctorate (PhD) in nursing science from Texas Woman’s University, with a research interest in vulnerable populations. Dr. Schlueter also has earned an MBA degree from TWU and a BSN degree from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. Dr. Schlueter has nearly 25 years of nursing experience, largely in public health/safety net health systems, and as adjunct faculty at TWU.
