Leslie Pihlstrom is in her 7th year as the ambulatory care clinical nurse educator for the medical, surgical, and infusion clinics at Alberta Children's Hospital in Calgary, Canada. She has been a pediatric nurse throughout her entire career, starting as a floor nurse and nursing instructor in pediatric oncology before assuming her current CNE role. Leslie is proud to be a member of the AAACN, serving as the 2025-2026 chair of the Pediatrics SIG, the 2025-2027 chair of the Publications Committee, and an advisory committee member of the Workplace Safety and Workforce Well-Being SIG.
