Allece Merchant has worked in health care for 25 years, as a registered nurse for 18 years, and in nursing leadership for 14 years. She is certified through the American Nurses Association as a nurse executive leader. She has been serving as an informal and formal mentor to direct patient care nurses and nurse leaders within her organization and externally for 3 years. In her role as director of ambulatory clinical initiatives at an academic institution directly reporting to the ambulatory chief nursing officer, she supports ambulatory care strategic initiatives, including patient experience, access, quality, and finances.
