Andrea Kossoudji works for the Veterans Health Administration and is the implementation lead for the Exposure-Related Care Transformation (EXPRT) Center and nurse educator located within the War-Related Illness and Injury Study Center (WRIISC) and Health Outcomes Military Exposures (HOME). Andrea started her career in the VA as a patient-aligned care team RN care manager at the VA San Diego Healthcare System. Prior to joining the VA, Andrea was an army nurse corps officer and served in a variety of clinical and operational roles, including a deployment to Afghanistan. Andrea holds a Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of Colorado with a specialty in veteran and military health care. Andrea continues to work intimately with front-line staff to better understand the needs of healthcare staff providing care to Veterans with military environmental exposure concerns.
