Description
Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the US. Community health centers provide integrated primary care services to populations that typically have increased socioeconomic barriers and are diagnosed with more chronic conditions and at-risk diseases than the general population. This leads to increased screening challenges, further widening health inequities in racial and ethnic minorities. Identifying specific organizational characteristics that may influence screening uptake in this at-risk population is integral in achieving equitable screening practices and outcomes within in this population.
