Portia Zaire is a partner liaison for The Ohio State University College of Nursing. She has extensive experience working in ambulatory care settings, collaborating with ambulatory care clinical partners and building strong educational programs for licensed nurses. She has been in the partner liaison role in her college of nursing for the past 5 years working with practice partners to close the knowledge-practice gap for their nursing staff. She was the director of a residency program from 2018-2021 and developed content and continuing nurse education programs for community partners. She served on AAACN's academic-practice partnerships task force.
