Vanessa Felty is a director of nursing specialty practices for Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Physicians. She is a registered nurse with almost 2 decades of clinical experience in acute, post-acute, and ambulatory care spaces. Within the last three years, she has been the director of nursing within the Penn Medicine ambulatory care setting focusing on the areas of process improvement and supporting top-of-licensure practice of the RN in this space. In addition, she has been working collaboratively within the acute, primary, and specialty offices in a variety of PI activities across the continuum of care to impact patient outcomes, namely patients graduating (transitioning) from specialty offices back to primary care to create a cadence of continual access for patients within the specialty offices.
