As a nurse educator at the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Lisa Webb applies her PhD degree in nursing science and skills in nursing education to improve the health outcomes and quality of care for veterans. She has 5 years of work experience in the VA, where she has served as a new knowledge innovation and improvement coordinator, staff development specialist, and VANAP faculty. In these roles, she has contributed to the development, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based practices, policies, and programs that enhance the performance and professional growth of nursing staff and students. Her mission is to advance the field of nursing science and education and to empower nurses to provide the best possible care for veterans.
