The town hall session will allow for an open forum for discussion between AAACN ambulatory care leaders and attendees on health policy and advocacy issues in ambulatory care nursing. Focus will include a discussion of a baseline strategy for advocacy and policy platform design, communication, and dissemination principles; a description of advocacy efforts from AAACN in 2023 as well as the current outlook for future work; and a demonstration of engagement in advocacy efforts from a panel of exemplar advocates.
