Dr. Michael Jaffe is a graduate of the ATSU College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Wayne State in Detroit, Michigan. He is board certified in PM&R and pain management. Dr. Jaffe ran the department of pain management and was a staff physician in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego for 21 years. Dr. Jaffe moved to Hawai’i in 2017 and is in private practice with Hawai’i Brain and Spine in Kailua. He is an associate clinical professor at ATSU College of Osteopathic Medicine and Western University of Health Sciences in California. He contributes to many peer-reviewed journals and has written two books. He currently serves on the Hawai’i Medical Board and is affiliated with Adventist Health Castle Hospital in Kailua, Oahu. Dr Jaffe is president of Hawai’i Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, promoting osteopathic medicine in Hawai’i.
