This session addresses implementing the 2022 ACC/AHA Heart Failure Guidelines to the management of heart failure in the geriatric population. Focus will include nonischemic causes and the four stages of heart failure, the four pillars of HFrEF treatment, and which medications which should be avoided in those with heart failure.
