Dr. Natalie Baker is the infection prevention supervisor of the Alabama Nursing Home-Care and Long-Term Care Strike Team. This five-year grant provides education and technical assistance, including prevention and outbreak resources, to all long-term care facilities throughout the state. The primary objective of the project is to build and maintain the infection prevention infrastructure necessary to support resident, visitor, and facility healthcare personnel safety. Dr. Baker also maintains a clinical practice at a rural long-term care facility.
